Manual Lymphatic Drainage

Last weekend I attended a workshop to learn new skills in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD). I am looking forward to integrating it into my current treatments and building up to doing focused MLD treatments.

It is a great way to ease swelling, fluid retention, and improve the function of the immune system. Research shows that it can be used post operatively (in the hospital recovery room) to ease swelling, discomfort and speed up the healing process. It is great after knee arthroscopies and other similar surgeries. MLD can really help recovery after a cesarean section when so many lymph vessels have been cut.

Lymphademia can be eased and lymph flow sometimes redirected back into the system, bypassing scar tissue and lymph gland removal.

Call the clinic to book in to see how MLD can help you. 08 8333 3455
